Cocotte is a great little French style restaurant that has two locations in London. One afternoon, Sarah and I went to have their weekend brunch at their Hoxton Square location. The area is super cute, and the food was delicious! It is known for their chicken dishes, and they did not disappoint. To check out their menu, click here!
Between the two of us, we shared three dishes so that we could try a bit of everything. One of the items we ordered was the Truffled Croque Monsieur, which was decadent and so good because I love the flavor of truffle. This French classic was dripping with flavor because of it’s melted emmental cheese!
Being that they are known for the chicken dishes and their croissant waffles, we obviously had to try their spin on chicken and waffles. The chicken was super crispy and tasty, while the baked croissant waffle was sweet and the perfect pairing with the chicken!
Finally, we shared the Oeuf Benedicte, which was amazing! It was a poached egg on a freshly baked croissant waffle with hollandaise sauce and their roasted chicken, served with lettuce and tomatoes.
Oh, and I can’t forget the piece de resistance, the croissant waffles. Can you say mouth watering? This dessert was served with freshly baked croissant waffles along side whipped cream, nutella, and jams! Definitely get this dessert if you stop by Cocotte for their weekend brunch!
