Sweater: Cefian USA, Skirt: Vivienne Tam from Stein Mart, Heels: Zara, Necklace: Express, Watch: Michael Kors
Here is yet another item that I purchased during my New York trip. I think it is such a cute and sassy sweater that I can dress up and down easily. I may have said this before, but I do feel like pairing casual with dressy is the way to go. That way you never look too stuffy. It is important to always have a good balance when styling your outfits. And that statement can also be applied to the items you purchase. You can buy designer things, but not everything has to be designer. Mix and match your wardrobe with high priced items and low priced items (Forever 21, H&M, etc.). If there is one piece of advice I could give to people regarding fashion, it would be just that: Balance is key!
In other news, I feel badly for all of the people up north and in the midwest experiencing such bad weather. I know many people have had snow days, so I am truly blessed right now to be living in the sunshine state where the low for the day was 51. Even though the wind was out of control by our standards, we are still much more fortunate than those who are currently shoveling snow off their cars. Oh, and back to the wind, it was so strong that I had to hold my skirt down and was fortunate to have worn a bun into work today. Or else my hair would have been flying all over the place… wind + my long hair = tangles & knots. Anyone know what I am talking about? Okay, enough of my tangent.
Thank you all for visiting with me today!
