Emu Australia has teamed up with WaterAid to support access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest and most marginalized communities. Emu Australia’s initial contribution will help kick start safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects in 15 communities across Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
World Water Day is a day for everyone to show their support for the human right to water. The global water crisis affects 650 million people today. It’s a crisis as solvable as it is deadly, and its time for it to end. This World Water Day, go #Blue4Water to show your support for the 1 in 10 people currently living without safe water.
Emu Australia is tasked me with the project to transform a pair of their premium, Australian-made boots into the perfect #Blue4Water accessory. I decided to add some beautiful gold glitter to the back of my boots to represent World Water Day.
So my challenge to you – How will you go #Blue4Water with @WaterAidAmerica @EMUAustralia for #WorldWaterDay? Help us spread the message and go BLUE! http://ow.ly/Y07aG
I hope you all have a very happy #WorldWaterDay! With @EMUAustralia and @WaterAidAmerica, I’m going #Blue4Water for those that don’t have access to the safe, clean water we all take for granted.
