There was so much hype over the Beauty Blender, and I couldn’t understand what a sponge could do to my makeup that a makeup brush or my fingers couldn’t do. And to top it off, I found it to be a bit crazy to spend $20 on a small sponge at Sephora. Lucky for me, I went shopping at Marshalls a few months ago and found a faux-beauty blender by Cynthia Rowley so it gave me the opportunity to see what the excitement was all about. I can now say that I am hooked! This sponge blends in my concealer beautifully and I do not think I will ever use my fingers or a makeup brush again! To use a beauty sponge, you must first wet it, and squeeze out all the excess water. Then take a towel to remove any additional water that may be soaked in. After that, I dab my concealer under my eyes with my finger, and use the beauty sponge to blend it in for a flawless look!
