I know I am beyond super late posting this bedroom decor that I did during Christmas time, but I did want to get this post up because I love how it turned out. Also, they say the best time to purchase holiday decor is after the holidays, so maybe this is the perfect timing for this post (LOL).
I was really inspired this holiday season to make my room look and feel very Christmas-y and I always wanted to feel like I was in the holiday spirit. I think as we get older, sometimes the holidays can seem a bit more stressful than fun, so I find that when I decorate and play my holiday music, I am always in a festive and happy mood. This decor really made me happy and I felt like it was super Christmas-y but not crazy over the top.
First off, I love decorating my headboard because I think that is the first place I look when I walk into my room. I added a fun red berry wreath on top (it is currently on clearance for $15), and then draped two garlands on the actual headboard. One of the garlands had little twinkle lights and the other was actually a calendar that had all the days of Christmas listed on the mini-stockings, which I thought was so cute! My garland is on clearance now and is only $6.49!
My super cute and festive sweater is only $19.99 and is so comfy! I love it to wear during the month of December if you have any holiday parties to attend or you are simply lounging around the house!
Also, the beautiful gold Decorative Geometric Tray is perfect year round to place any of your favorite decor items on. This tray would be beautiful on a coffee table, on an entrance table, really anywhere. And it is only $19.99!
Again, I know this holiday decor post is going up super late, but hey, most of the items that I used in my room are currently on sale or on clearance, so what better time to shop for them!
