My sister recently graduated from high school this month, so my mom and I decided to use an electronic invitation to circulate the news of my sister graduating high school and attending The University of Miami in the fall! I looked no further than Paperless Post for our invitations. Why? Because they create some of the most elegant and chic electronic invitations! And I have to say, our invitations turned out so pretty! Paperless Post makes it so easy and quick to use their site, which is why I have used them now multiple times for invitations!
For my sisters invite, I wanted to take you through the step by step process of how I created my sisters invitations!
Step 1: Before anything else, you should create a profile with Paperless Post. Once you do that, you can head to the main page where you can select which occasion you need your invite for. I selected the “Graduation” option, as we are planning my sisters high school graduation!
Step 2: Once you select your occasion, you will have to option to pick from so many different types of electronic cards, colors, card shapes, photo options, etc. I actually decided on the first option I saw because we only wanted one photo and we loved the gold foil detailing.
Step 3: Customize your invite! Start uploading photos and information about the party that your guests need to know about.
Step 4: Upload your photos, change your text, pick your background, change the card design, and design your perfect invitation! As you can see, we went with a rose gold and gold theme for my sisters graduation party. I changed the background, increased the font a little bit, and uploaded the photo that my sister liked best of herself!
Step 5: Edit the “envelope” for the invite and add a stamp! We went with this beautiful rose gold glitter envelope, and we absolutely love it. It definitely added some glam to the invite that we were looking for! Also, we had to go with the graduation hat for the stamp.
And this is what the envelope will look like with your guest’s name on it!
Step 6: Fill out all the details about your party: the title of the party, where it will be located, the time, do you want to show your guest list, and any other notes you have for your guests that they may need to know!
Step 7: Purchase your invites with “Coins”. That is how you purchase your invites via Paperless Post. Here is your chart for coins:
Step 8: Upload all the email addresses that you want to send your invites to. I used their template, which is like an excel sheets, and was able to add everyone to the sheet, and upload it to Paperless Post for an easier uploading process.
Step 9: You are now done! Send your invites!! What I love about Paperless Post is that once you send out your invites, it will show you who the invites have been “Sent” to, who has “Opened” the invites and who is “Attending” or “Regrets” to attend. They make it really easy for you to manage your guest list, and you can even write messages to your guests as well. Also, I plan on sending a “reminder” to my guests who haven’t accepted the invite a week before the party to get my final head count!
I really hope you enjoyed my step by step process of how I created my sisters graduation party invites using Paperless Post!
