The Envoy Hotel Our Thanksgiving weekend was a bit of a whirlwind. I baked all Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. We woke up and watched the Thanksgiving day parade and dog show. Then we got ready and headed to my aunts house for our family party! We ended the night playing our favorite game, Heads Up!, and then made our way home to pack for the next morning.
Lounge Pretty With Wonderose Clothing
Today, I want to share with you all a beautiful brand that is designed, sourced and made in New York City. This brand is special to me because it was created by my cousins’ cousin… so basically family! What I love most about Wonderose Clothing is how feminine and comfortable the clothing line it. It is a chic way for women to lounge around the house, or #LoungePretty, as their motto goes!
Happy Black Friday everyone! Who is out and going shopping? If I wasn’t sitting at the airport, heading to Boston, I would definitely be hitting the sales today. I am kind of sad I am not, but I am sure my wallet appreciates it!
One sale I want to tell you about is the BaubleBar sale. Everything is 30% off right now with the code “THANKS30”. I am a HUGEEEEE BaubleBar fan. They have the best jewelry that is affordable but looks ultra expensive. I am wearing these amazing ear crawlers in this post, which are originally $32 but you can get them now for about $23! They are the perfect holiday accessory. Or, if you have any weddings coming up, they would be the perfect accessory for any wedding guest gown you have to wear!
Rustic Pear and Apple Tart
Since it is officially holiday season, I have been dying to try out some new fall-inspired recipes. I started looking through our fridge and pantry to see what I could come up with to test for the holidays. We had a couple of pears and apples so I decided to make a homemade Rustic Pear and Apple Tart!
Bisous X SequinsIn honor of Sarah coming to South Florida tomorrow, it was only right that I dedicate tonight’s post to my blogging sister, The House of Sequins. This is a flashback to our first every New York Fashion Week, which was so much fun! I couldn’t have made it through that week without her by my side. We always joke that the both of us are such homebodies, so it was a miracle that we got out around the city and accomplished all we did.
Right before NYFW, I ran into Off Fifth and found this super comfortable dress by Free People. I have never worn Free People before, and to be quite honest, I always felt the brand was a bit too boho for me. But I was definitely wrong. This dress is THE most comfortable dress I own and is perfect for the fall time. I do feel like it is a little bit short on me, so I think with a pair of opaque tights and some thigh-high boots, this would be a super cute look.
The Rosegal’s Halloween
With Halloween right around the corner, I wanted to share some simple and easy Halloween-inspired looks! I am not one for dressing up, but I still like to participate in the festivities at work. I wanted to create some easy looks so I opted for a variety of masks and Halloween sweatshirts that are fun and festive!
Living in Miami, I always try to find new clothing that is breathable but still fashionable. So when I spotted this culotte jumpsuit on Madewell’s site, I needed to have it. I love the tie detailing in the front which gives more of a casual feel. I also love the ikat stripes of this look as well. It was the perfect look for summer and I will definitely be taking it out again for spring.
One of my favorite NYFW city looks during my trip was this Madewell jumpsuit in the most gorgeous color! What I love more than anything about this look is how easy it is to dress in a jumpsuit. It is like wearing a romper, maxi dress or sun dress. It is only one item and all you have to do is add the finishing touches (accessories and shoes) to complete the look!
Discover The Palm BeachesDiscover The Palm Beaches
After all the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week, I was home for a full day and then made my way to The Palm Beaches. It was one of the best “staycations” I have ever been on. Being from South Florida, it was so nice to travel up a little north and see what Palm Beach had to offer.
