Right before NYFW, I ran into Off Fifth and found this super comfortable dress by Free People. I have never worn Free People before, and to be quite honest, I always felt the brand was a bit too boho for me. But I was definitely wrong. This dress is THE most comfortable dress I own and is perfect for the fall time. I do feel like it is a little bit short on me, so I think with a pair of opaque tights and some thigh-high boots, this would be a super cute look.
The Rosegal’s Halloween
With Halloween right around the corner, I wanted to share some simple and easy Halloween-inspired looks! I am not one for dressing up, but I still like to participate in the festivities at work. I wanted to create some easy looks so I opted for a variety of masks and Halloween sweatshirts that are fun and festive!
Living in Miami, I always try to find new clothing that is breathable but still fashionable. So when I spotted this culotte jumpsuit on Madewell’s site, I needed to have it. I love the tie detailing in the front which gives more of a casual feel. I also love the ikat stripes of this look as well. It was the perfect look for summer and I will definitely be taking it out again for spring.
One of my favorite NYFW city looks during my trip was this Madewell jumpsuit in the most gorgeous color! What I love more than anything about this look is how easy it is to dress in a jumpsuit. It is like wearing a romper, maxi dress or sun dress. It is only one item and all you have to do is add the finishing touches (accessories and shoes) to complete the look!
Discover The Palm BeachesDiscover The Palm Beaches
After all the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week, I was home for a full day and then made my way to The Palm Beaches. It was one of the best “staycations” I have ever been on. Being from South Florida, it was so nice to travel up a little north and see what Palm Beach had to offer.
Our wedding is now only 146 days away, and that means putting together all the final touches. One of the first things that a couple’s guests see are the Save the Dates. It sets the tone for the whole wedding and is the first impression that your guests will have until they receive their invitations. Personally, it was important to me to make a statement with our Save the Dates because I wanted it to be a good reflection of what our wedding will be like. Save the Dates (and wedding invitations) are essentially a reflection of our wedding day. Trust me, I took this job very seriously.
The World Is My Runway The world is my runway! That’s my motto in life. There are some outfits that just make you feel super glamorous and fierce! This plunging romper dress from Tobi is definitely one of those outfits. Wearing this romper makes me feel like I am walking on a runway and am “Gone With The Wind Fabulous”. It is all about the drama with this get-up!
Today I wanted to share with you all a chic office look. I haven’t done a corporate attire post in a while, so I wanted to share this black and blush outfit I put together. Dressing for the corporate world can be boring at times, but it doesn’t have to be. I found a way to make this cropped black Tobi blouse office appropriate. If paired properly, you can have a trendy outfit that is not only great for the office, but can also transition easily if you have dinner or happy hour after work.
One of my favorite looks from my New York Fashion Week trip was this Tobi black cropped pant and top set! Initially, Sarah told me I looked like Aladdin (probably because of the cropped pants), but once I styled it, I really loved this outfit. I actually borrowed Sarah’s moto jacket, which I kind of want in my wardrobe now. It is a Nordstrom find and is under $100! I have linked it here. Draping jackets over my shoulders has become my latest fashion obsession. It just gives an outfit a chic vibe that I am really loving for the fall season.
I am so excited to share with you all my first ever travel post! Because I have been traveling so frequently lately, I have been wanting to start a travel section. And what better way to start off this series than to share with you all my New York Fashion Week experience. I hope you all enjoy!
