Lately, I have been trying to channel my inner Parisian woman. I just love how effortless and chic their style is and how confident they carry themselves. Parisian women definitely have that “Je ne se quoi” about them, and I absolutely love it! For this look, I was trying to hone in on my Parisian look with my loafers and draping my jacket over my shoulder. Do you all think I am Parisian yet?
My husband and I have been doing quite a bit of traveling in the past year, and that isn’t going to stop anytime soon. We are currently planning our honeymoon (which we are so excited for), so I wanted to share with you all a casual travel look and carry on bag that is perfect for a weekend trip, a quick getaway or a long extended vacation, like a honeymoon.
I am beyond excited to share this long overdue post about my Bisous Bridal Shower! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share with you all the details of my bridal shower. Since my wedding has already past, and I can’t wait to share more about that with you all, I thought it was only write that I post about my gorgeous bridal shower that so many of my favorite people made so special for me. The last three months have been a whirlwind. Everything has happened so fast, as many people told me it would. But I can honestly say that my bridal shower was absolutely perfect!
The Wednesday after our wedding, Tyronne and I made our way up to Canada for a winter trip with his company. My husband (Yes! Now I can officially call him that!) made President’s Club at his job, so the trip this year was to Mont-Tremblant in Quebec! Let me just preface this post by saying that I have never skied or snow boarded before. So going to Canada, we decided that we would do night tubing, possibly dog sledding, and snowmobiling. Well little did we know how cold it would be when we arrived.
I am pretty boring when it comes to my shower routine. I tend to use the same old bar’s of soap and never really venture out to try new one’s. So I decided, it was time to jazz up my shower routine. I recently tried the new Duo Body Cleanser from Olay, Ivory, and Old Spice and I think I am a changed woman!
In celebration of Valentine’s Day and the women that I love, I wanted to share with you all a great curated box that features collections of items created by women!
Sometimes going the classic route is the best option. Take this classic striped button down by Evy’s Tree. It is perfect with a pair of jeans, a pencil skirt, or even a pair of black shorts. The options are endless and this top can be dressed up or down. I decided to go with a more casual vibe and pair my button down with my favorite Levi’s black denim, my new Latigo black suede booties and topped it off by draping my denim jacket on top. I actually wore this look to my birthday dinner with my family. I loved that I could button the collar up all the way for a more sophisticated look.
Lately, I have been loving the cozy and comfy vibe for my clothing options. This gorgeous shell pink sweater by Evy’s Tree, is elegantly called the Katherine. This beautiful color is perfect for the upcoming love holiday that is right around the corner! I think this sweater would be a great option for staying in with your loved one, cozying up on the couch with some take out and a great movie! Well that is what I plan on doing anyways.
Our wedding is officially almost a month away (one week and one month to be exact), and I couldn’t be more excited! I still have a lot of last minute details to finalize, but one thing that I was so excited about during this wedding planning process was our invitations. Tyronne and I are so happy with how our invitations turned out. They are the perfect amount of modern, chic and elegance. Plus, I love the gold foiling, which adds that hint of glam!
Planning a wedding is a whole range of emotions. It can be fun and exciting at times and it can be a bit stressful and overwhelming at other times. With my wedding quickly approaching, I am finding more and more little details that I need to address. One of the most helpful things I have done while planning my wedding is booked an appointment at David’s Bridal to meet with a stylist. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful their stylists are.
