Today I wanted to share with you all an easy, comfortable and casual style that is a go-to of mine. The outfit consists of a bodysuit, my favorite oversized cardigan, my favorite soft jeans, and a fun pair of sandals. This look is great for running errands, grabbing a quick bite to eat, heading out to the movies and simply hanging out with your friends!
Today, I am so excited to share with you our wedding highlight video created by the talented Kevin Borge Films! Words can’t even begin to describe how much fun we had on our wedding day. From getting ready early that morning with my girls, to sharing our first look before all the festivities, then our perfect ceremony and finally, our beautiful reception, we has such an amazing day and wouldn’t change a thing! The best part of our day was celebrating such a huge milestone in our lives with our closest family and friends (who we consider our family).
Just a little back story on our wedding: Tyronne and I got married on February 25, 2017 in Miami, FL. Our ceremony was held at was St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Miami Beach and our reception was held at The Hotel Colonnade in Coral Gables. Both of these locations were perfect for the vision we had for our wedding day. We both loved the idea of a black-tie wedding, where everyone gets all dressed up for a few hours and celebrates with us. It’s not often that people get to wear tuxedo’s or gowns, so we really wanted our guests to attend a fancy affair!
I will share more details with you once I start working on our complete wedding day post with our wedding photos (which I just received last night! Yay!). I can’t wait to share every single detail with you!
A special thank you to our amazing videographer Kevin Borge! You can find more of his work here:

I hope you enjoy watching our very special day!
I want to start this post off by saying that I love to shop and have new clothing, shoes, accessories, etc., just like most girls. And since I love to shop, I have come to love the finer things in life. But the finer things in life cost a lot of money, unfortunately. And I am definitely not able to go out and buy the newest and latest designer trends. I have to save up for them. Sometimes for years. Well that is what happened with these beautiful heels!
If you would have asked my 10 year old self if I would have ever worn so much pink, I would have laughed in your face. I used to make fun of my mom for loving it so much and for always wearing pink lipstick. I literally hated pink. Growing up, I loved the color purple. Not necessarily to wear, but just in general. Pink was definitely not a color I would even touch. Well that has definitely changed as of late!
In my defense, I really just love light pink and blush. I still cannot stand hot pink or magenta or any sort of dark pink shade. So that is how I rationalize my hate for pink growing up.
Lately, I have been trying to channel my inner Parisian woman. I just love how effortless and chic their style is and how confident they carry themselves. Parisian women definitely have that “Je ne se quoi” about them, and I absolutely love it! For this look, I was trying to hone in on my Parisian look with my loafers and draping my jacket over my shoulder. Do you all think I am Parisian yet?
My husband and I have been doing quite a bit of traveling in the past year, and that isn’t going to stop anytime soon. We are currently planning our honeymoon (which we are so excited for), so I wanted to share with you all a casual travel look and carry on bag that is perfect for a weekend trip, a quick getaway or a long extended vacation, like a honeymoon.
I am beyond excited to share this long overdue post about my Bisous Bridal Shower! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share with you all the details of my bridal shower. Since my wedding has already past, and I can’t wait to share more about that with you all, I thought it was only write that I post about my gorgeous bridal shower that so many of my favorite people made so special for me. The last three months have been a whirlwind. Everything has happened so fast, as many people told me it would. But I can honestly say that my bridal shower was absolutely perfect!
The Wednesday after our wedding, Tyronne and I made our way up to Canada for a winter trip with his company. My husband (Yes! Now I can officially call him that!) made President’s Club at his job, so the trip this year was to Mont-Tremblant in Quebec! Let me just preface this post by saying that I have never skied or snow boarded before. So going to Canada, we decided that we would do night tubing, possibly dog sledding, and snowmobiling. Well little did we know how cold it would be when we arrived.
I am pretty boring when it comes to my shower routine. I tend to use the same old bar’s of soap and never really venture out to try new one’s. So I decided, it was time to jazz up my shower routine. I recently tried the new Duo Body Cleanser from Olay, Ivory, and Old Spice and I think I am a changed woman!
In celebration of Valentine’s Day and the women that I love, I wanted to share with you all a great curated box that features collections of items created by women!
