Our wedding is now only 146 days away, and that means putting together all the final touches. One of the first things that a couple’s guests see are the Save the Dates. It sets the tone for the whole wedding and is the first impression that your guests will have until they receive their invitations. Personally, it was important to me to make a statement with our Save the Dates because I wanted it to be a good reflection of what our wedding will be like. Save the Dates (and wedding invitations) are essentially a reflection of our wedding day. Trust me, I took this job very seriously.
For our Save the Dates, we choose Wedding Paper Divas for the company to create our Save the Dates. After discussing with Tyronne what he envisioned, we both decided we loved the magnet Save the Dates. Being invited to so many weddings lately, when you receive paper Save the Dates, it is hard to keep track of them. I always try to find a magnetic clip to place on my refrigerator in order to hang it up. This way, it is always in my site and I remember the date, wedding website, location of the wedding, etc. That is exactly why we went with a Save the Date magnet. We both felt like it would be so much easier for our guests to be able to place our Save the Date on their refrigerator so that they know the date, location and our wedding website.
The Save the Date that we chose from Wedding Paper Divas was the “Clear Beauty – Save the Dates (White)“. What I loved about these magnets was that they were simple, yet chic. I loved that I had room to write all the information that I wanted to give but was still able to see our engagement shoot photo. This particular magnet offers three different sizes: the 5.25 x 4.10, the 4.88 x 3.38 and then the 5 x7, which is the option we picked. What I love most about Wedding Paper Divas is that you can customize almost all of your products. You can change the color, font and spacing on all invites. Also, as you create your order, you always have the option to ask the designers for changes, which I did in order to have more room for wording on the actual magnet.
To add a bit more pizzazz to our envelopes, I went to Michael’s and purchased gold ink to stamp our addresses on the back of the Save the Dates. Also, since my new last name will be “Pruitt”, I found the prettiest “P” stickers to close the envelopes. I think those two things added a really pretty touch to our Save the Dates.
A special thank you to Wedding Paper Divas for providing me with the most gorgeous Save the Dates! Tyronne and I are so happy with our decision and love the way our magnets turned out. Also, we have been receiving great feedback from all of our wedding guests, which makes me so incredibly happy!
If you are in the market for Save the Dates or wedding invitations, I highly recommend Wedding Paper Divas. Our order was delivered fast and safely. We have nothing but rave reviews! And now, onto designing the wedding invitations. I will keep you posted on that process soon!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you had a great weekend!
