Our wedding is officially almost a month away (one week and one month to be exact), and I couldn’t be more excited! I still have a lot of last minute details to finalize, but one thing that I was so excited about during this wedding planning process was our invitations. Tyronne and I are so happy with how our invitations turned out. They are the perfect amount of modern, chic and elegance. Plus, I love the gold foiling, which adds that hint of glam!
When picking out our wedding invitations, we decided to use Minted. They have such a wide selection of options, not just for wedding invitations, but for every single celebration you may have coming up. From a rustic and bohemian, to classic or glam, Minted has something for every type of couple and every type of wedding or party. We had a few options in the running for our final picks, and it was very hard to select just one because there were so many beautiful options.
After it was all said and done, Tyronne had the final say. He selected these “Editoral Chic Foil-Pressed” wedding invitations created by Hooray Creative’s. When they arrived, we were both so happy with the outcome. They were chic, classic, modern and very much “us”. I truly feel that what you pick for your Save the Date and your wedding invitation sets the stage for what the wedding will be like. Since we are having a “Black Tie Affair”, we wanted a very modern and sleek look (with a hint of glam for me!).
I was so happy that Minted addressed the front of each invitation being sent out. That was a big task that I didn’t have to do or find a calligrapher for, so I was pleased that Minted offered that option.
One tip I do have regarding invitations is to (in a small corner where your guests won’t see), number each return envelope to coincide with your guest list. A lot of guests tend to forget to write their names on the return RSVP and it leaves us guessing when we receive an invite back with no name. Luckily, a co-worker told me about this tip and thank goodness she did. We have received back a few invites without names on them, so thank goodness we numbered each envelope to check which name it belongs to. I hope this tip helps you!
I want to give a special thank you to Minted for collaborating with me on this amazing wedding post! Tyronne and I are beyond happy with our invitations and have received rave reviews from our guests thus far!
