Discover The Palm BeachesDiscover The Palm Beaches
After all the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week, I was home for a full day and then made my way to The Palm Beaches. It was one of the best “staycations” I have ever been on. Being from South Florida, it was so nice to travel up a little north and see what Palm Beach had to offer.
One of the best parts of my stay in Palm Beach was the Marriott Singer Island. I checked in around 7:30pm and was so excited when I entered my room. I walked into a full kitchen, full living room with a couch and tv area, and the master bedroom- wow! The bed was unbelievable (and some of the best sleep I have gotten in a long time), a small walk-in closet (which was perfect for all of my clothing and shoes I brought), and the bathroom was beyond perfect. There was a huge shower, a great bathtub, and beautiful vanity area and a separate small room for the restroom area. It was like a I was staying in a small apartment…. All the myself! I was really enjoying life. This hotel is the only all-suite beachfront property in Palm Beach County, and has 189 suites total.
Throughout my stay, I received two sweet deliveries from the hotel. The first was a delicious cheese, fruit and cracker platter. It was such a great snack to have when I would come back from a long day of exploring. The second was my favorite. It was a gorgeous macaroon display with various flavored macaroons prepared by the Marriott chef. The Marriott Singer Island made my stay in Palm Beach. It was so relaxing and home-like. I could have stayed at the hotel the entire time and been completely content.
At our hotel was a gorgeous spa called the SiSpa. I arrived later than the rest of the group on Wednesday, so I was scheduled to have my spa treatment right before I left on Sunday morning. As soon as I arrived, I was offered a glass of champagne and brought into the changing room. The ambiance was very relaxing and peaceful. I changed into my robe and was brought into the quite room, which had flavored waters, hot tea’s, and a variety of trail mixes. I relaxed for a few minutes before my masseuse brought me to my room for my treatment. The service I had was the 50 minute Si Tonic Body Envelopment treatment.
SiSpa offers sea-inspired pampering and wellness therapies. Their services and treatments range from body therapies to facials and nail treatments. SiSpa a wonderful amenities like 12 signature showers, steam rooms, mens and women’s locker rooms, spa patio with whirlpool, and a spa boutique!

For our first dinner, we headed to the delicious Craft Bar Kitchen. It is a great restaurant and cocktail bar in Jupiter, FL. I decided to try the Asian Hot Pot, which was extremely good and filling. I barely made a dent in the soup, but really enjoyed my dinner. They offer many vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free options as well! I even had a drink (and for those of you who don’t know, I am not a big drinker). I ordered the Blackberry Mule which was amazing! It tasted like a blackberry ginger ale, which was right up my alley. And I can’t forget to mention the staff. They were very warm and inviting and made sure that every moment was pleasurable for us!

One of my favorite spa days was at the Woodhouse Day Spa. I received one of the best facials I have ever had here and I absolutely loved their ambiance. I received the 50-minute Minkyti facial and absolutely loved my esthetician. My experience here was tranquil and very relaxing. Their customer service was exceptional, which made my trip here all the more enjoyable. It was the perfect way for me to kick-start my spa treatments on this trip. I would definitely recommend for you to visit Woodhouse Day Spa if you are in the Palm Beach Garden area. If you are not in the WPB area, they have many other locations throughout the US, so check out their website to see if you have one in your area. It is a gem!

This waterfront restaurant and bar will have you feeling like you are in Key West! It is a little piece of paradise in Jupiter that has a great view of the water and a great laid-back vibe. I felt like I was in Margaritaville when we dined here for lunch. If you are into the tiki hut, live music and Key-West vibe, Guanabanas is the place for you!
One of the highlights of this trip was the sunset sailing cruise on the catamaran Hakuna Matata. The evening sail was gorgeous and we were able to kick back and relax aboard the catamaran. We were able to see the beautiful Palm Beach mansions on the water, The Breakers hotels (which is very well known in all of South Florida, and of course, see all of the beautiful yachts! The weather held up perfectly for us, and the crew on Hakuna Matata made us feel very welcomed!

One of the restaurants from this trip that I am dying to go back to is City Cellar. First of all, CityPlace is the perfect area to go shopping and find great restaurants. City Cellar is just a perk of this wonderful area. The food, wine and ambiance of this eatery were all perfection! Every single food we tasted and all the wine we drink were delightful. The staff was also extremely helpful and made sure we had a wonderful dinner experience. City Cellar has a huge award winning wine collection that can be sampled by the bottle or by glass. For those of you who are wine connoisseurs, this is the place for you. If I could recommend one restaurant for dinner, it would be City Cellar. It is great for a date night but also perfect for a group dinner as well!

If I could have spent the whole day at Cosmo & Company Salon & Spa, I would have. They have just about everything a girl could want. They are a 360 beauty, health and wellness salon. They have a beautiful hair salon, a makeup artist table, a nail salon, a spa section for massages and facials, and a wellness area for health treatments. Going to Cosmo made me want to have every beauty treatment and massage available. Cosmo offers an array of cutting edge medical beauty services that utilize holistic approaches to health, beauty and wellness. They have many of the latest anti-aging technologies and nutritional therapies. Like I said, I could have spent all day here and would have been the happiest girl ever.

Right in the heart of Delray Beach, Gary Rack’s Farmhouse has a wonderful menu designed for clean eating. We stopped by Gary’s for a quick lunch and I had the most delicious meal! I ordered a special of the day which was grilled shrimp over brown rice. This option was apart of their power lunches. Gary’s has two locations: one in Delray Beach and one in Boca. This is a great restaurant if you love restaurants who serve seasonal, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.

A farm-to-table restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, The Cooper specializes in the finest foods and beverages sourced whenever possible from local farms, food artisans, small-batch distillers, and craft brewers. To say I enjoyed my meal at The Cooper is an understatement. I ordered the filet mignon and it was delicious! To make things even better, we had world’s best waiter who was attentive, funny and eventually became our friend. It just goes to show you, the service at a restaurant can really make or break an experience, and The Cooper did not disappoint. The vibe was rustic, with wood tables and the most beautiful light fixtures. I would definitely come here again and highly recommend this eatery to anyone who visits.

You can never really go wrong with a Hilton Hotel. Although we didn’t spend much time here, the Hilton WPB is a newer hotel in the area that is vibrant and full of life. We arrived to a long line of cars at the entrance. We knew it had to be something special if everyone in the Palm Beaches was trying to get in. The pool area is simply gorgeous, and on Saturday mornings, they offer yoga to their guests in their grass area next to the pool. Since it was extremely hot when we arrived, we didn’t try out the yoga class, but we did see some guest participating.
We took a brief tour of the grounds and then made our way to brunch at their Palm Desk restaurant. I ordered the chicken and waffles for my entree and the fresh key lime pie for dessert. I would love to come back and stay at this Hilton!

Sons & Daughters was definitely a new and exciting experience for me. When we were arriving, the location seemed like it was in the back woods of an off-road. This made me realize that it must be a local spot! Newly opened in April 2016, this organic farm produces Hibiscus Sabdariffa, which ultimately became their farm’s most beloved source of wine. They are known for their kombucha, an amazingly healthy fermented black tea frequently consumed in both Eastern Europe and Asia. The owners, who were extremely sweet and welcoming, own a 17-acre farm and gave us a brief tour and showed us how they create their kombucha and hibiscus wine. We did a taste testing of 4 different wines and kombucha’s they produce and they were all very unique in taste. Sons & Daughters also create their own popsicles and bar’s of soap, which was nice to see as well. I loved that everything there was home grown and organic.

For our final dinner, we headed to Farmer’s Table, which has the cutest country and rustic feel. I loved the ambiance of this restaurant and could tell it was a local hotspot. The Farmer’s Table serves food that has been sourced cleanly and responsibly so their guests know they are eating great quality food. They do not serve food with any chemicals, hormones, pesticides or antibiotics in their proteins.
At Farmer’s Table, their philosophy is to serve sustainably farm-raised or harvested seafood to not deplete the oceans. I really appreciate restaurants like this that make an effort to only serve the best of the best. For my entree, I ordered the mushroom and goat cheese flatbread and it was amazing! Plus, they have live music in the dining area we were in, and the music was fantastic! Farmer’s Table is definitely a great Boca spot.
I hope you all enjoyed reading about my “staycation” to Palm Beach! Palm Beach is a great city filled with character, history and fun activities. I can’t wait for my next trip!
