Last night, my husband and I had the best date night at STK South Beach. STK is one of those restaurants that we go to for special occasions, and I had only been one time before. So when we were offered to go and try out the Chef’s Menu, there was no hesitation! I was beyond excited to test out the Chef’s spring menu and try some of the delicious food this steakhouse has to offer! After all, their tagline is “Not your daddy’s steakhouse.” And boy are they right!Read more about STK Here!
There is nothing I love more than going to a coffee shop or a cafe and having coffee. Literally, it is what I live for. Ask any of my friends! So of course, when Sarah and I went to London and stayed at The Leman Locke Hotel, they have the cutest coffee shop at the front of the hotel, which I was so happy about. It is so pretty inside, the baristas were so sweet, and the coffee was delicious!Read more About the coffee shop here!
Cocotte is a great little French style restaurant that has two locations in London. One afternoon, Sarah and I went to have their weekend brunch at their Hoxton Square location. The area is super cute, and the food was delicious! It is known for their chicken dishes, and they did not disappoint. After one of the London Fashion Week shows we attended, Sarah and I headed to The Zetter Townhouse in Clerkenwell. It is known for being one of the best afternoon tea’s in London according to Vogue and they also have a location in Marylebone. We were also told that their afternoon tea is very traditional by British standards.Read more about our experience at Zetter Townhouse!
When Sarah and I arrived in London, the first thing we did was head to afternoon tea at Maitre Choux! They have 4 locations in London, and each is decorated more beautiful than the next (just check out their Instagram). We went to the SoHo location and it was a great start to our London Fashion Week trip!Click here to Read more About Maitre Choux!
Website: Parker & Quinn
Location: 64 W 39th St, New York, NY 10018
Located inside the Refinery Hotel, Parker & Quinn is “inherently New York with global appeal.” It has a old school diner type feel, with some modern touches. The vibe definitely gives you a 1900’s New York diner feel, which I loved. The staff at Parker & Quinn were so helpful and attentive! My favorite part of our meal was their P&Q Brunch Boards! We had both their Bloody Board and their Bubbly Board which have the most gorgeous presentation! My favorite of the two was the Bubbly Board, but I highly recommend both if you love Bloody Mary’s or Mimosa’s. These are great drink brunch options when you want to share with friends!

Location: 63 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018
As the “crown jewel” of the Refinery Hotel, Refinery Rooftop Bar has an industrial meets luxury vibe! Situated in the Garment District of New York City, Refinery Rooftop Bar is a definite must when you are in the city!
To start, Sarah and I tried three of their signature cocktails: Perfect Pear (which was my favorite), Mango Basil Margarita, and the Frozen Hurricane. The Frozen Hurricane is their cocktail of the month that benefits a worthy cause. This month, the drink’s proceeds will go to the Developing Minds Foundation.
For lunch, we shared a few items on the menu. We ordered the Butcher’s Meatballs, Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread, Frico Grilled Cheese, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and some Truffle French Fries! Everything was so delicious and tasty! Our favorites were the Brussel Sprouts with sweet chili, fish sauce and the Truffle French Fries!
The atmosphere of this restaurant is not to be missed. You have the perfect view of the Empire State Building as well as the beautiful New York City skyline in general. Refinery Rooftop Bar is the quintessential New York City spot, and I would definitely come back here when I go into the city again!
