When you think of South Florida, I am sure you envision the gorgeous beaches, the beautiful palm trees, sexy bikini’s and the vibrant culture, to name a few. Well the W Fort Lauderdale recently had a $55 million renovation and is hosting it’s first Art of Swim fashion and art event! Due to Hurricane Irma, the event date has been changed. Please check back to see the new updated time and date! The hotel drew inspiration from Miami’s renowned Swim Week and their goal is to elevate the swim fashion experience by incorporating art and interactive presentations. This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss!
Art of Swim will take place on the hotel’s gorgeous rooftop pool, and will feature Fort Lauderdale’s local custom swimwear designer, Stefani Holtzheuser from Jypsea Local, Brazilian bikini extraordinaire, Lenny Niemeyer, and Swedroe, the collaboration of Ariel, a 14 year old fashion designer, and her grandfather Robert Swedroe, an Architect and Artist. The evening will include fashion and art pop ups and runway shows with themes ranging from Sea Sirens and Floral Fantasy, to Circus and beyond, as well as live body casting and tunes care of DJ La Trice Perry. How cool does that sound?
