When Sarah and I arrived in London, the first thing we did was head to afternoon tea at Maitre Choux! They have 4 locations in London, and each is decorated more beautiful than the next (just check out their Instagram). We went to the SoHo location and it was a great start to our London Fashion Week trip!
“Maitre Choux is the first and only choux pastry specialist patisserie in the world. We are a modern version of a French patisserie, redesigned to cater to the most discerning of taste buds. Every day and with a rigorous precision, our Three Michelin star-experienced chef bakes the most perfect éclairs, choux and chouquettes.” – Maitre Choux website
Afternoon tea is only available at their SoHo location, and let me tell you, it was amazingly sweet! The pastries were so beautiful that I almost didn’t want to eat them. The eclairs were amazing and my tea was fabulous. Here you can view the menu!
I have to say, one of my favorite things about London is having afternoon tea. I love tea so much, and it is common to put milk in English Breakfast tea, which I do at home (and I feel like most people don’t do that here in the states). Afternoon tea definitely has a level of chicness that I adore, so I definitely need to find a local spot at home to have afternoon tea until I can head back to Maitre Choux in London!
